Positive Behaviour Support in Broome

Immediate capacity

Our office is in Broome, on Yawuru Country, and we have immediate capacity for new referrals. Meg and Jo see children, adults and families in person at our office, at home, at school and out in the community.

Because we live and work here, we understand the rhythm of the town: the wet season, the tourist season, families moving between Broome and community, and how hard it can be to get specialist help without a long wait.

Areas supported

  • Broome town and Old Broome
  • Cable Beach and Roebuck
  • Bilingurr and Djugun
  • Dampier Peninsula (by arrangement)
  • Derby and Fitzroy Valley (telehealth, visits by arrangement)

What families and teams say

Testimonials

  • From our very first conversation, Meg made us feel heard and understood. She took the time to see our child as a whole person, not simply a collection of behaviours. For the first time in a long time, we felt hopeful. The strategies were practical, compassionate and made a meaningful difference for our entire family.
    Susan
  • Meg is warm, responsive and highly knowledgeable. She communicates clearly with families and the broader support team, and her recommendations are practical, person-centred and easy to implement. The family felt supported throughout the process, and I felt confident knowing they were in capable and caring hands.
    Rachel
  • Meg helped us understand what the child was communicating through their behaviour. Her guidance changed the way our team responded and helped us create a calmer, safer and more connected environment. Her compassion for the child, family and educators was evident in every interaction.
    Sally
