Support that starts with your child, your family and what matters most

When life at home, school or day care feels harder than it should, you do not have to work it out on your own.

We support children, young people and families to understand what is happening beneath the surface and find practical ways forward. We look beyond the behaviour to understand needs, communication, relationships, regulation, strengths and the environments around your child.

There is no judgement and no one-size-fits-all advice. We take the time to listen to your story, understand what is important to your family and develop support that feels realistic in everyday life.

We can support your family with

  • School refusal, friendship difficulties and classroom concerns
  • Neurodivergence, including autism, ADHD, PDA profiles and developmental differences
  • Parent stress, family conflict and the impact of caring
  • Early childhood development and support for day care or school
  • Building confidence, communication, independence and emotional regulation
  • Navigating NDIS supports, assessments and next steps

Support that feels practical

You know your child best. Our role is to bring professional knowledge, compassionate guidance and strategies you can actually use.

We can work with you at home, in our rooms, through telehealth or alongside your child’s school, day care and wider support team. Support may include parent and family counselling, Positive Behaviour Support, child-centred play therapy, early intervention, functional capacity assessments and collaborative school consultation.

Our recommendations are individualised, neuroaffirming and focused on helping your child feel understood, safe and supported.

You do not need to wait until things feel unmanageable

Families often contact us because they have tried everything, received conflicting advice or simply want to understand their child better. You are welcome to reach out early, even if you are not sure what type of support is right.

We will talk with you about your concerns, explain your options and help you identify a starting point that suits your family.

Working alongside schools and early learning

With your consent, we can observe at school, kindy or day care, join planning meetings and share strategies with teachers and educators so home and school pull in the same direction.

What families say

  • From our very first conversation, Meg made us feel heard and understood. She took the time to see our child as a whole person, not simply a collection of behaviours. For the first time in a long time, we felt hopeful. The strategies were practical, compassionate and made a meaningful difference for our entire family.
    Susan
  • Meg is warm, responsive and highly knowledgeable. She communicates clearly with families and the broader support team, and her recommendations are practical, person-centred and easy to implement. The family felt supported throughout the process, and I felt confident knowing they were in capable and caring hands.
    Rachel
  • Meg helped us understand what the child was communicating through their behaviour. Her guidance changed the way our team responded and helped us create a calmer, safer and more connected environment. Her compassion for the child, family and educators was evident in every interaction.

Common questions from families

Does my child need an autism diagnosis?

No. We support children with a range of disabilities and developmental differences. NDIS funding usually needs to be in place for Behaviour Support, so talk with us if you are unsure.

Will you blame us as parents?

No. Behaviour has many causes. Our job is to understand your child and support you, not to judge.

What happens in the first few sessions?

We get to know your child and family, hear what a good day and a hard day look like, and often observe at home or school. Early strategies usually start straight away.

Can siblings be involved?

Yes. Siblings are often affected, and simple strategies for the whole family can help everyone.

Take the first step

You do not need all the answers before you contact us. Tell us a little about your child, what is happening for your family and what support you are hoping for. We will help you find the right next step.
